They need to replace the slave cylinder or bleed it properly.

Someone else told me I might need a upgraded slave cylinder? Any insight on that? I'm clueless in the clutch department. Dealship said he has bled it properly. Why would the slave cylinder need replaced?

I figured the big dealership I got my car from would be able to figure it out. That and there are special tool they have to get just to take the tranny apart. Regular shop would prolly rape me in labor and those stupid tools

I took it it to have sychros replaced under warranty. So install was only going to be 100 bucks.

Crate engine depot has slaves for our trans. Just a good idea to relace it while you have it apart so you dont have to open it back up later. I dont think they bled it properly it probably has a big ole air bubble in there somewhere unless the cylinder is leaking or failed.

I am sure they might rent the tool if they are too stupid to get it to work

Not a whole lot of people here have upgraded the clutch do to this exzact reason .

Nobody really knows 100% without a doubt that these clutch kits work for our cars

I think a few people have the exedy and the other brands that are compatible .

You may ask them if they could try and do a "clutch" relearn with the tech 2 tool .

Since these cars are "drive by wire"

It was a joke ...

I'm just trying to keep your thread alive untill someone gets the answer you're looking for . A new clutch is in my things to do soon.

Next year is the clutch , turbo kit , maybe ported head and some internals fueling we will see .. I am still skeptical for reasons like your post for going any further . Allthough without people like you we wouldn't really get anywhere without you being the guinea pig for us all ..

When I did a clutch in my civic the master cylinder went out. Its always a good thing to replace it when ur gettin an upgraded clutch especially if its gonna be stiffer

Still waiting on dealership to call back. Had another guy I PM'D tell me someone with same setup needed a special adapter rod because his clutch was not engaging right. And he was going to make one so I emailed clutchmasters. I called once. they said they will be calling me back. I don't know of anyone with a actual install on one yet. So we will see where this takes me.
