anyone running an hks bov? if so, whos upper cp did u use, and where did u get the flange.

And non of that don't run a bov on the lnf, iv said it myself, im curious and want to see what I wanna do in the future.

I'm running the HKS SSQV BOV. I bought my upper charge pipe from Dejon because they already welded the flange specifically for which BOV you chose during the buying process and I of course chose the HKS. Been running fine for about 15k miles. Sounds nice and loud like it's supposed to. Call it ricey if you want. LOL

i perfornally think the hks ones are junk. they dont last long either...the synapse and tials are the only way to go. you should recirculate them unless your relocating the maf. the hks does allow that along with the other 2 i mentioned.

but to answer your question hks has a specific flange. vibrant sells them inexpensively.

yes, because having a loud ass bov going off EVER SINGLE TIME you shift at 10km/h isnt annoying at all

I've done the whole exhaust thing in the past just grabs unneeded attention(cops) as well as the drone on highway(most my driving), and people sometimes throw snark remarks like fartcan even though my previous setup cost near a grand when all said n done. Much rather go the opposite route this time around, k&n & forge let the snail/engine do the talking. Though I do want to hear a catted dp in person on an ss/tc and consider going aftermarket dp for the easy gains.

anyone ever try the gfb bov? it can do both recirc and vent to atmosphere are the same time, to whatever amount u wish. looks like a pretty nice system

My HKS is incomparably louder than the stock BPV.

Only when in boost bro. Learn how to drive right and you never hear it

BTW there is no size with the HKS flange. Its all one size for the SSQV and the package for the BOV will have the C clip and O ring needed etc. Its a pain in the ass to install compared to the Tial Q, but getting the correct spring rate is a pain to. So there is a pro and con in each one.

springs are easy to change. I wouldn't say theres any con to the tials... they are by far the best.

Definitely a lot louder than stock. Looks really nice too. Why else would I pay 300 for it. LOL But it was a PITA to install the c clamp, well, only because I didn't have the right tool. LOL But once it's in correctly, I've been happy with it for about 15k miles now. Definitely recommend it. But get what you want, it's your money and there are definitely some cheaper options out there. At the end of the day, the only that matters is that you're still turning heads when you let off the throttle.

Lol well sound wise and looks wise if take the hks. I have a c clamp tool so that won't be hard. Just don't want any flutter or anything. Or leaky bov. Anyone know how they do leak wise ? At what psi do they usually leak

Can't help u there because mine is not fluttering or leaking. Like I said, get it right the first time and you should be fine.
