Big hammer and a long gorilla bar would do it. You will throw a code though. Might gain 5-10 hp though. It will be louder.

cats aren't really the problem. the problem is the headers and downpipe. they restrict flow. put it a new downpipe that flows better. unless this is your race car, keep a cat. maybe swap it for a high flow, but you will want to pass smog, right

Turbo car. We dont have a header per say. The stock DP is 3" it flows really well except for the cats.

Most posible gain from a DP is approx 15 Hp. Intake 10-15 Hp. Catback 5-6 Hp. Charge piping 3-6 Hp. Too bad the numbers dont get added together. There would be 350 whp TCs with the stock turbo.

HAHA
yeah
just hit em.
time : 2min - 30min (depending on how fast they run and hard it is to catch them)
gains : no more shedding, no more wasting money on cat food, no more liter box.

Oh the P0240 code has been permanently erased through HP Tuners so the car thinks i dont have an o2 sensor. So this way i pass emissions and no codes

the material used in cats is expensive you would be surprised what the right scrap yard would pay for one...

so i wouldnt go beatin the **** out of it just yet...

by a different dp and use the money from your scrapped cat to help pay for it....

you could gut the rear cat and kick no cel's

that rear cat is behind the rear o2 sensor

but i agree for 300 bucks just get the catless dp and swap it

this way you can retain the cats for any emissions testing down the road

well, PETA will probably be pissed, but I'd just grab them by the throat and give it two 'em square between the eyes.

EDIT: shouldn't take more than 30 seconds each cat. You'll gain a lot of solitude.

But as many have said, it's really not a process that requires much skill or finesse. you just keep banging and shaking it out.
