This Is How The Injen Pipes Should Have Come
Bought this Injen hot side pipe used off of a member here. He had them color matched Victory Red but I always envisioned having my hot side pipe flat black so as to appear as OEM as possible. I decided to strip them, remove the "Injen" emblem and purchased the MPx upgrade kit for it. I sprayed them with high heat charcoal grill paint. I think they turned out pretty nice.

Here's the paint I used... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Rust-Oleum...-Heat/19399698
WORKS LIKE A CHARM! Couldn't believe how easy it was. It is pretty messy though and you may need a utility brush to get paint from certain spots but definitely worth it.
In the installed pictures, they look shiny but in person, they are totally muted. I love it.

Yea, I figured the camera flash made them look a little shiny as opposed to how they really look. I may do this to my mine as well, just maybe a different color. I'm getting bored with the glittery black that Injen painted it with haha.

^that looks ROUGH!
The wrinkle coating on the ZZP is what sold me, along with how it runs along the engine's shape and not across, I dislike the Injen for that very reason. I'll take the small volume loss due to the increased length of piping for aesthetics sake.
Good work to the OP though!
