How's your tune?
I am looking for some input from SS/TC owners with tunes. Everyone is wondering about aftermarket tunes and such for the TC so I figured I would try to get as much input as possible on your tuned cars. If you have time answer the following questions, so us "non tuned" drivers can see if we want to make the switch to the "dark side".
1.Mileage (Total miles on car, not MPG's)
2.Estimated Mileage since tune (ditto)
3.List of Modifications (Engine mods only)
4.Type of Tune
5.Dyno Results(How much HP and TQ you gained from stock, not just the numbers)
6.Problems with Car Since Tune
7.Aggressive Driving (Use a scale of 1-10, 10 being you WOT every chance you get, and 1 being your pedal has never reached the floor board)
7.Anything else you would care to share.
I know it's somewhat long, but I think a lot (including myself) of TC owners arent getting tuned because of possible engine failure, CEL codes, etc. And a lot don't want to jeopardize their warranty. But if the non tuned owners get enough feedback, they can better decide if it's worth the risk. Thanks.

Plain and simple, you will absolutely love a tune. I thought it was great before, but its amazing now. I got a unique deal, so I said screw it and didn't worry about the warranty. You only live once, thats my motto...

with the HPT, can you set the car back to stock so the dealer will still give you warrenty? Because I know with intake exhaust intercooler charge piping, you can bring that straight to the dealership and they have to still value warrenty. This is because of the magnuson vs moss act. Computer however, will destroy warrenty.

4.Type of Tune:Area47 1337 t00n at modified by kc
5.Dyno Results(How much HP and TQ you gained from stock, not just the numbers): stock dynoed 244 whp and same for tq and after tune the these are SAE numbers i got 338 wtq and 309 whp we can easily get way more but im being nice to the stock clutch
6.Problems with Car Since Tune: nothing at all exept need to replace tires soon and NLS isnt really the same

7.Anything else you would care to share: the car pulls so hard i can hardly keep it on the road when i shift but its soo fast it pins me too the seat and i just hang on lol

Shouldn't realllly matter, I know the gains that I got were about the same as everyone else, so if it dyno'd stock ~240 like everyone else, that still puts me at about 300whp on another dyno

It puts a grin on my face to give it just over half throttle in 2nd going 35 mph and having the front tires break loose instantly. A tune is the best $250-$500 you will ever spend on your TC. He basically built my custom turbo setup. He does great work almost obsessive. And, all his tunes are strong and have never popped a motor.

Mileage is consistantly in the 31 to 33 MPG range, even at 75 MPH. I almost have to pinch myself about how much fun this car is. Chevy really did a "good one" this time.

Absolutely love this tune amazing numbers out of it and a smooth boost pressure apply based of rpms, helps with wheel spin, also 1st gear has a 7psi limit to help launches

I'd recommend Fred and SMG to anyone, he's a real cool guy and loves what he does. He's done quite a bit of work on cobalts and knows his way around a car. He's got a nice little shop in a nice quiet neighborhood, stop in and chat with him.

6. 1st gear is useless wile racing, I need to have them bump the boost down to 10-12psi in 1st
