so i changed my intake in my ss/tc for spectre kit that i bought and put together myself it sounds friggin sick and i know i have no gains from it but i dont lose any power either.....when i installed it i didnt take the battery off to reset the maf and i got a CEL. last night i got a tune and now it runs AWESOME and the CEL was deleted but after maybe 30-45 mins of driving home the CEL came back, what i wana know is, if i disconnect my battery now to try and reset the MAF will it delete my tune?

 

not, the tune is stored in the engine controller. you wont loose it.

 

just drive around like ultramario and it should go away.. haha

but you wont loose your tune if you do that.

so it didnt clear up the code lol damn that sucks my check engine light came on again but it went away in 2 hours dont know why it even came on but its not there no more lol

no the best way to change the oil is to stick the hose in were u put the oil in and flush it out that way dont u know anything it came with my ford manual lol its also a good way to clean u'r pistons and stuff lol
