All Joking aside, There are a ton of variables could be the problem, What is you're altitude where you run at? Try some different tires or better yet drag radials. Have you tried the rear spring football mod? Or the tie down straps like c.miller so graciously shared with us to improve 60 ft times. Are you dumping the clutch or slipping it on the launch? Is you're track known for good prep on the street legal class or when you run? You may be being way to hard on yourself takes practice also.

Watching the youtube vids of lc makes me wanna try it, I know it's high but it doesn't spin much at all in the ones i've seen. It's a yellow one and a blue one. Waiting to get the ottp stage 2 mounts before i practice launching, jus don't wanna break nothin.

Just take off like you normally would from a stop sign then once you get rolling stomp it and shift

Launch at 1800, feed the throttle off the line (the car's weight unloads the front as soon as you dump the clutch so if you start low, you lose nothing to spinning) Also, what's your tire pressure set at?

What worries me the most is that your trap speed is terrible. Most bone stock TCs trap 103-104. Even with a tune as conservative as the SC tune many have trapped 106-107 MPH.

i used nls from 3'd to 4th. but thats it. but i am using my dashdaq so maybe its quarter mile distance measuring is gay.

why does my trap speed worry u? iv been looking around and 14.2 @ 104 looks about right. but my trap speed keeps changing eveytime depending on how much i spin, im gonna try feathering it, cause i spin at least a 1/3 of the 1/4 mile. im sure that effects my trap.

Because with just a simple 22 psi tune (I dunno which version of the trifecta tune you have) you should be trapping at least 109-110 MPH.

If possible you should run against someone you know is running 105ish quarter miles and see what the results are between you and them. That way the dashdaq can be to blame if you kick ass. I hear allot about the contis being to blame for quarter miles times. I wouldn't imagine that would change the trap speed too too much though.

Those trap speeds should definitely be higher like term said, especially on a trifecta tune. I just ran a 14.4 at 102 last night with a 2.3 60 foot and I am basically stock minus the k&n drop in filter and zzp catless dp. Just keep practicing your launching, hell that's what I am doing my 60fts suck too.

frick i ran like 15's at 98 on stock, but i also took off pretty slow so i wouldnt spin, which is why i guess. lol what kinda a/f ratio u guys running on tune?

tried again today, but got misfire during nls and engine power reduced, damit, and i though my launch was not bad. i should go back to 24 psi, i did get a 107mph trap there, even with shitty launchs

not sure how accurate those things are. take your car to a legitimate dragstrip, then
you will know.

ya i wish it wasnt 2 hours away. were supposed to make one in the city here, but never did. ya its combo if the dashdaq and me. got my stock run to 14.8 at 102, so better launching will help. and im sure at a track with good prep and the fact that it takes wheel spin into account id run much better.

so you ran 14.8 at a real track? what is your elevation? not trying to bust your chops, but that seems a little slow. 60 foot?

not too sure about MPH, but my buddy had one ( a g-tech) and it was .1 to .2 within the dragstrip E.T.'s (but he did NOT have any traction problems, even on the street).
