Holy shit that's what I'm thinking. What all do you monitor? Does look badass but I'm just sitting here thinking about how much I hate running wires and all those gauges must have been some work!

Snail_SS 04-21-2017 09:44 AM

Well I mean you do have alot of things to monitor like KR,AIT2,boost,maybe rpm for shift light with the interceptor, air fuel ratio, coolant, STFT and LTFT. I'm sure he's measuring some other stuff but that's just a few

I know of parameters you can monitor I just wondered what all he was monitoring. You could cover a lot of those with a single tablet or smart phone and a bluetooth OBDII adapter. I personally monitor AFR, IAT2, boost, and keep the coolant temp up on the dash. I would like to do a gauge for oil pressure and maybe even oil temp. But even after that Tom would have 3 more gauges lol so I was just wondering what all he was monitoring out of curiosity.

Snail_SS 04-21-2017 10:20 AM

I almost sure he's monitoring every I've mentioned plus the aeroforce do 2 monitors at a time, so just in those he can see 6 things lol so technically he has 11 gauges lol

Do you know if the cluster on the dash is molded in or actually a whole dash piece? Looks clean.

Snail_SS 04-21-2017 10:28 AM

He molded it in actually he has pics somewhere in the thread

tomj77 04-21-2017 01:35 PM

I monitor oil temp and pressure, fuel rail pressure, stft ltft, knock, afr, meth failsafe, boost, coolant temp, exhaust gas temp and the volts is just cause I had an open pod. And yes I built the dash , thats my third attempt, first 2 sucked lol

Snail_SS 04-21-2017 01:51 PM

Lol well looks good now haha

tomj77 04-21-2017 03:50 PM

tomj77 04-22-2017 11:02 PM

Almost got it all done. Waiting for new oil line junk, a fitting and some stuff from Powell. Filled with oil and coolant , will finish coolant when I can start get. Almost done bleed brakes but one of the rear bleeder screws didn't wanna come out so had to order new one since I destroyed it, gonna be a little work getting old one out

Looks so good.

Does anyone else have a real hard time plugging the rad fans in? I push the connectors as hard as I can and it will not click in. Although I looked at the fan and it seems where the connector should clip in looks broken. But ya every time I have to do this it takes forever to get them in. At this point it's in real right but not locked so I'm guessing over time I'm gonna have to go under and do it again. That or buy new fans . pisses me off a little

cluelessk 04-23-2017 01:57 PM

Blow them out and use some sort of lube on the rubber seal.

It's amazing how much it helps.
