Injen intercooler piping!

so just a quick question for all of the people using this... how do you like it? does it really get in the way of the spark plugs? and did you notice a big gain or increase in throttle response? when i say big gain im thinking maybe 5-8 hp? i like the fact that its cheap brand new and is straight pipe no restrictions. but i was looking into hahn charged piping before this and its crazy expensive compared. also doe the injen only come with the hot side piping? ok sorry for all of the questions! thanks guys debating on getting this really need charged piping and intercooler bad lol.

You'll need a swivel to get to #2 spark plug, but the Injen charge pipe doesn't have to be removed. Oil filter access is ok too. Get the coupler & clamp upgrade.

The best thing about the Injen charge pipe is that its the only one thats mounts which is why i chose that one. its much more sturdy than any other one.

And really the the injen is more sturdy I didn't know that. If it's anything like the k&n intake sturdy that's great! Haha.

i think its really only good for maybe 2-3 peak hp but throttle response is supposd to be allot smoother and a little more oompf in the middle range.

fyi this is compiled from everything ive ever read on this website for lnf upper CP

Oh ok sounds good I just thought maybe it would free a couple peak hp more because of more boost but I have heard alot of midrange power as well and of course throttle response. Im thinking I might actually look into to it.

i believe it actually takes less boost to make the same HP. and it should spool a little faster as well. i dont think you will see more boost with it. its all about eficiency anyway. more boost isnt better. more hp/tq with less or equal boost is FTW

fair enough. i believe tunes on this car work by aiming to move a certain amount of air. so if air flow becomes easier the boost SHOULD actually drop and your hp should rise a little.
