installed zzp bov question

ok I just installed zzp 50mm bov with my zfr, cause I hate the zfr bpv sound. I have trifecta ecp tune so everything works good, issue is on mild boost bov will open good. mid range it will flutter a bit cause bov doesn't open fast enough, there is about a second before it opens. and highboost there is a high pich noise then bov opens. the noise is kinda like boost is sneaking past the ttr block off plate I installed. so what would the issue be here? any way to make bov open faster? or do I put stock bpv in and run both so stock takes care of lower boost and bov takes care of higher boost. someone on here did that I read not to long ago. car runs fine with this issue. just sounds dumb

I run both so I don't have to worry about it. Sounds like you answered your own question though, you need a lighter spring.

ah, I was hoping id find u. lol now I got some questions for u, do u have zfr? how do u have the 50mm bov hooked up? straight to mani and the stock to the bpv solenoid? do u still have ur vacuum tank for the bpv solenoid? and what spring did u get in the 50mm bov? 19" or 12" apparently straight to mani (which is not ecu controlled) would require the 19"

19" would be the lighter spring id assume? I think with the 12" spring they are assuming people still have the vacuum tank installed on ecm controlled solenoid, cause I notice the vacuum tank keeps the bpv open quicker and longer. but no vacuum tank and the 12" spring and the bov hooked up the solenoid doesn't work, in fact its worse that if its straight to manifold.

last question. u got a video of how it sounds with the 2 valves working together? I don't think it would sound good with zfr, cause even stock bpv on zfr sounds shitty, so id still have the shitty sound before bov opens. lol

Lots of questions, I'll do my best.

I'm stock turbo.

I have my HKS welded to my Injen piping.

My BOV is split into the line that goes into the middle of the manifold on top.

I have not removed my vacuum tank.

I am not 100% sure what spring is in it but I know it's one of the heavier ones.

My stock BPV opens at about 4" of vacuum. The BOV won't open until about 0. When the BOV opens I don't hear the BPV at all, the BOV is way louder.

make sure you dont go to soft a spring or the bov will be open at idle and be sucking unfiltered air.

zzp only has the 2 springs, 12" or 19" 12 is for use with solenoid and 19 for direct to manifold
