Intake

http://cobalt.dejonpowerhouse.com/ Click on the intake pipe and its the top one.

Is the top intake, the one that says "Hi-Flow Intake Pipe for Cobalt SS", is that a SRI or CAI? It looks like a SRI, but was wondering what they were talking about in the description about the valve cover vent hose. Thanks

It is a warm air intake, look on the lower left of the page, it pulls warm engine bay air right into the intake. (3rd picture down on the left, the red intake color one)

The Valve cover vent hose is that stainless braided line. So it can connect to the intake. It is a must.

Damn that was a fast reply, LOL. I rather have the CAI, but I'm sorta afraid of the water possibly getting up into the filter. It only rains very very hard here like a couple times a year, and I should be getting my Patrol car soon and wont have to worry about driving the SS/TC and could just drive the Mustang in the rain. Thanks for the response though.

K&N at least does a nice heat shield with a rubber gasket to help close it off....
