Intercepter showing knock on stock tune??

So lately Ive been seeing upwards of 4.0 knock showing up on my intercepter while daily driving. Literally grandma driving. Now car is running stock tune stock everything besides a catback exhaust. I just had the motor replaced under warranty 900 miles ago because of the porous block defect. I run only Shell 93. Im hopping a retune will get rid of this issue and maybe i will switch the type of gas i use as well? Any insite would be great thanks guys!

Oh for people who dont read the thread section.. its the 2009 LNF

If you're talking about the midrange KR that's showing up, yes, that's pretty much normal on these cars. I really haven't seen a car have so much KR in the midrange stock. If you've got tuning software, you can try smoothing out the timing tables some. That helps a little. Some of it stems as false KR, some of it is tip in depending on fuel trims, but mostly these cars will show KR in the midrange all the time. Also, with false KR, some have found an ease or cure of it showing up by rotating the Knock Sensors in the block. They are suppose to be positioned a certain way.

I've spent countless hours tuning my car trying to rid it of the KR, but it never fully goes away. I'll see as much as 3.7-4 on my car in the midrange. Right off idle and pulling out from a stop on these cars show it the most.

It's the WOT, high load, high rpm KR you gotta watch out for.

Thats what i thought. I know on my trifecta tune i saw zero knock in every type and range of driving. My HP tune i had showed knock at wot but only 2 i think was the highest.

Agreed, as long as it's not ALWAYS happening while you drive I wouldn't worry about it. Like the previous poster said it's under load you should be worried.

Don't forget about the false knock, I've gone over pot holes that were bad enough to cause a 34 knock count.

I get 2-3 degrees randomly while logging. Pretty normal on these cars. You can tune it out to a extent...
