I chose meth and think I maid the right choice. Today it was 85 degrees out, and in a short second gear pull and a 2, 3, and some of 4th gear pull the IAT2's went from 90ish to 78 degrees at the top of forth, I dont think an intercooler will do that.

I agree. I think meth is exactly what you are looking for.

both, but meth hands down has more of a cooling effect and you can gain horsepower. Im running a trunk mount kit with a 7gph nozzle untuned right now for the time being and i really felt the difference. Once tuned shell be an animal

same and aeroforce gauge and hptuners. Thought i might add though if you run meth and have access to a speed shop do it the right way. None of that washer fluid bs with heet. I can buy a 5 gallon drum of M1 methanol for 32 dollars than i mix it with distilled water and put a couple drops of food coloring in the mix to easily see the level in my tank

For the stock turbo you really dont NEED a better FMIC, it is nice to have tho! If the choice is one or the other I would go with Meth, more consistent and will actually ADD HP/TQ lol.

I have had meth/water injection on a Diesel truck and I loved it. I actually had IAT at about 5 degrees above ambient air temps. Which on a big hot loud turbo diesel V-8 is crazy good. Especially when the exhaust side of the turbo is hitting about 1000 degs farenheit on a hard uphill WOT pull. I would definitely get meth injection before an intercooler.

I could use that for my diesel haha where did you procure such things? I have a 20 gallon tank for my Suburban under the back seat that takes alot of methanol and H2O. I might kill for that much in one spot

The windshield washer mix is exactly the same as that. Its true methanol and water, thats it haha

I thought like that before to, but I tried both in my SS/SC.

Same results in cooling and could add just as many degrees of timing with both.

And the Windshield Washer fluid is SOOOOO much cheaper lol 2$ a gallon for the same results wins me over every day haha

no offense but you clearly weren't doing something right if u saw zero change going from washer fluid to 100%meth.

he never mentioned 100% meth in that post ? just that he saw no difference from washer fluid to meth, i would assume that he means a meth mix because it is the water in the mix that cools not the meth correct ? meth is an octane boost while evaporating water cools ? (at least im pretty darn sure thats how it works )

Meth cools on its own. Drag race cars, like top fuel cars, use 100% meth and have no cooling system in the motor because meth actually burns much cooler than gasoline. You dont need the water for the meth but it helps. In a diesel, the truck in my sig, the purpose behind the water is to creat added pressure and heat through turning the water into a steam. As everyone knows H20 cannot be compressed so as it atomizes in the cylinder it raises the heat to create a more complete burm. But the water meth combo cools the charge of air in order to pack more air/fuel mix into the cylinder. It sounds counter productive but thats pretty much how it works as far as I know and thats how it was explained to me.

Both are honesty good to have. With the methanol injection its possible to cool down the air temps down lower than what an intercooler can. And then the latent heat that the methanol removes is what makes your car really pick up some horse power.
