k&n air filter
k&n air filter
I'm gonna be ordering a k&n sri soon and I've heard a lot of people talking about the air filters on the lnf. Specifically that the oilly style k&n filter isn't very good for the car. If I was to get the k&n sri would it make sense to get the k&n dryflow filter also? Would it fit the same?
Have K&N Typhoon CAI on my 09 TC. No problems
+2 on regular MAF check ups, especially with any aftermarket filter. Any time you go non-disposable, you're likely to film a MAF - turbo or not!

Ok thanks guys. So what your saying is its fine but I need to keep my MAF clean. What's the process of cleaning it involve? If I was to get the dry filter would it make any difference in terms of the film on the MAF/frequency of needing to be cleaned? How often do you clean and oil your air filter?
Thanks. When I bought the car it had a hahn cai on it and I loved the sound(I know) but it wasn't tuned for and I believe it would get wet and the car would run shitty so I took it off and put the stock box in. I thought about doing the zzp tube and modding the stock box but I want the sound lol. It will be tuned for when I do get it.
