no, but not many on the forum are posting about it. If you read the k&n thread, the intake is actually very good for trims if the filter is rotated to the proper way. IMO its the best intake for a stock/gms1 tune yet. I am waiting for the vararam results though...should be a interesting intake as well.

I'd like to see airflow numbers now that we've figured out that the trims are good to go.
This is exciting that we may have finally found an intake with no major drawbacks. Probably much better flow than stock, sounds great, no water injestion issues, no conventional SRI heat injestion issues, no collapsing elbows, no surging, no fuel trim issues.... I see no real downsides here...
I may try Vararam down the road, but it'll be hard to beat this. For the sake of the Cobalt community, I hope the Vararam's intake will be awesome too. Then we'll have us some real choices.

Yeah, and so now the sound reverbs inside it, being that it's made of metal, and makes it like a Short-Ram Trumpet!
Vararam is known for their Corvette intakes mainly, so unless you owned one or were in the Corvette loop, there probably wasn't a reason or a way you would have known of them. From what I hear though, the owners and reviews seem very positive about their products.
