Hey guys I can't seem to find anything on the Internet about the k04 turbo. I've gathered that the speeds and srt4s use a different variant of the k04 but can not find info on a/r, inducer size, exducer size, etc. Any info on the cobalt k04 would be greatly appreciated. Also is the k04 the same flange as a t4 but a twin scroll?

Yeah I didn't think so. That would be quite large. Lol. The gt3582 I have for my other whip is a t3 flange. That's how I based the k04 flange size. Lol. What is the flange size though? What does k04 stand for? Tried the Google already

k04 is just the name of the turbo. And the flange is not a common flange. I wouldn't say that it's gm specific because I don't know but it's not square or symmetrical in any way

for the most part consider the flange unique to the cobalt. I haven't seen another turbo use this specific flange yet. And like mentioned above, K04 is the turbo type, not the flange type.

Bit if an update. Finally got a touch up tune done. Wgdc was definitely the problem. Must be quite different from the older revision of the turbo. Down to about 22psi on first revision. Backfiring stopped car feels quick again. Actually feels more torquey than it did before on 25-26. Perhaps it is a little faster spooling. It was also quite cool tonight maybe that’s more of what it is. But long couple months I’m glad I no longer think my car was hurt.
