lnf spark plug install

Installing oem replaacement plugs balt sstc. Other than a. Cooled engine block any other tips or advice for installation?? Someone said something concerning if plugs have a gasket seat or taper seat.... It will affect the amount of rachet turn after finger tightened. Thank you

Nope, cool engine is all. torque to I think its only like 15ftlbs or so. Make sure you use a spark plug socket, I remember seeing someone break the plastic and fell into the engine.

Just curious..how many miles on current plugs?
Also, could you post some pics of THOSE here when you get em out?
As far as tightening...15 lbs..that's about 1/8 turn after you first made *hand tight* with the wrench.

Lol, that was me...twice. Except, I did use a spark plug socket the second time and it happened again so...yeah. Changed a million plugs and have never seen anything like it. I've changed the plugs since then and it didn't happen again. Just very weird...

I just got my stock plugs (41-108 AC Delco) from Rock Auto. They were 5.15 ea and I ordered 4

I got a box of EIGHT. Gotta love it!

These are AC Delco. It does have a stamp on the neck says Japan and this #ILTR5D (which is NGK I assume).
No reference to NGK or 5476. I assume they're the same though.

anti seize???

Someone said to never use anti seize when puttin in sstc plugs??!! Which is it...

I installed mine when motor was warm, like 115 degrees. Hopefully I'm good. They came out fine and went in fine.
