The Lovely Clutch Opinion Question
The Lovely Clutch Opinion Question
Whats up everyone? I am here (along with the other 9 million people who ask this) to ask what clutch I should get. I will need the clutch to hold around 500 torque max. I just want the best feeling clutch possible. I do NOT care for the all or nothing clutch feel lol. I was told a 6 puck is what makes the clutch feel like that. Is that true? Also, what else will I need? Should I resurface my fly wheel or get a new one? What else? FTS!

Find a used flywheel and get it resurfaced so you don't have to wait on it while the trans is out.
If you get a clutch like the gmpp and driver mod, your trans could last. KYstage3 seems to be the trans killer with the zfr. Plus you'd have to break the bank for a 6speed since 4.45s aren't really available.
I have the driver mod haha but its hard to trust your words when going with a clutch like that.. Powell said he recommends me going with the stock clutch lol So I do see where your coming from. I have 77k on my stock clutch and have never had one problem with it.
Built motor, every bolt on and upgraded turbo. Was on wr3 put down 430/430 on 93 and clutch felt great. Now downgraded the turbo to a 6258 and still love it. Feels good, and engages like stock. Won't kill the trans as long as you know how to drive
Nice how many miles do you have on it and what is the max that clutch can handle? And where did purchase the clutch and flywheel at ? This sounds like a winner. Are you on a stock trans
I have about 25k miles on it and all those over 400/400...yes I am on stock trans. I got mine through Performance Autowerks, you can talk to Omiotek on here, he can help you out
