Exclamation Lower 3 bar map installation help..

Ok guys I got a new Bosch 3 bar map sensor that im gonna replace. I got it from the dealership and it came with a green o-ring. I think I read that it should be blue right?
Anyways I have been having CEL pop up every now and again, p0236, p0101 and just recently my car would not stay running on start up, and I had to unplugged the MAF sensor to get it running, but more CELS p0100, p0113, p0114, u0073, so I plugged the MAF back in once I started the car, but I have no power I guess it's in limp mode.

So my question is when I get this lower map sensor installed is there any tips on installing ot right so i don't continue to have these problems anymore???

Please tell me you replaced both Sensors with GMS1 and had Trifecta re-tune for it.

Had to email Vince a couple of times before my tune was updated correctly for the 3 bar sensors.

yea I already had the gms1 upgrade when I got trifecta, so it was tuned for the 3 bar as far as I know. I just seem to be having problems sense I got the bolt ons and gms1. I'm thinking the wiring is messed up some how on the map sensors or they are dirty not sure maybe just need a different o-ring

is it the plug and play GMS1 sensors or the hard wired sensors?

you already have the sensors installed and are just replacing them right? Wiring is then done. Unplug and put new sensor in... if you want to rewire, then undo the wires or resplice and resolder them. Make sure the lower one is correctly installed and tightened. That screws into plastic so it kind of can suck ass.

First off the upgraded o-ring you should order is black not blue (assuming your ordering the specific o-ring from ced.. part# 12626998).

The P100, 101, 113, and 114 are all related to your maf sensor. 113 and 114 are issues with the IAT (in air temp sensor) circuit in the maf and 100 and 101 are basically maf performance issues. Before you had these codes did you by any chance pull the maf for any reason? Maybe to inspect it or clean it? If so you may have re-installed it backwards. The opening should be facing toward the air filter. If not, the maf is most likely failing.

The P0236 is purely an issue with the lower map sensor.... but you already knew that since you already purchaced a new one..
::edit:: I forgot to add that the P0236 could be just a wiring issue as well and have nothing to do with the sensor itself functioning correctly.

U0073 is basically a link issue to the ecm where the ecm temporarily turns off the bus communication needed to communicate between other modules in the vehicle. This could be due to many reasons, one of which could be related to the car going into Limp Mode forcing it to cut comms to a module for 1 reason or another.

yea I was stuck on the road so I pulled the MAF sensor because the car would not stay started, but I plugged it back in, I hope I put it back in correctly, I will check, but I'm still getting the p0100,113, if I erase it then the car will not stay running on start up, and I still don't have any boost. So I'm waiting on the oring to come in the mail before i have the sensor installed, and hopefully everything will be ok then

I think they're the hard wired sensors, I was thinking about getting the plug and play from CED.

Wait a minute. You had a piece missing from an end tank and your boost leak test didn't catch it?

Stick with ZZP, best intercooler around in my opinion.

Treadstone has those extra pipes and clamps, which I do not like.

MPX is ok, but not as good as ZZP in my opinion.

TTR's Turbo XS looks nice but is much more $$.
