I look at these exhaust systems as something that requires finishing personally. This is more for the guy that has a welder at home and can finish the minor details of it. Considering the cost of the entire system is indeed a lot cheaper than a full bolt on unit makes it perfect for the DIYer.

This is a lot easier than the route I took buying DynoMax mendral bends, flanges, flex pipe, and mufflers and starting from scratch on my Integra.

You can see the clamps from it being mandrel bent.

Is there a way to do it cold?

Overall there is a reason this exhaust is cheap, you really do take your chances on it.

It sounds good, and is a good bit louder than the Hahn.

Hahn is just a better quality exhaust for the extra 100 bucks

Also if you buy the MES(with a res and muffler, stainless) it will cost 545 shipped and you still need to buy band clamps unless you like crushing your new exhaust.

I got my hahn for 622 shipped.

Came with band clamps.

Fit like a glove...and if you know me, I am not a hahn "too good to give instructions for brand new charge piping that makes reverse underhood dents" nut hugger.

Mandrel bending is a cold process.

Got my 3'' on, it was a pain to get the stocker off. So I busted out the skillsaw and made it a bit easier. I got the borla muffler, no res, it sound fantastic, and very quiet compared to what I was running. (Muff, resonator and cat deleted 2.5''.

I was thinking about just going with their 3" stainless piping and then getting my own muffler....Wondering how that would work out?
