Meth on 08ss

Well im kinda new to the whole turbo setups on cars, i was a honda guy so i never felt the need to spend all that money on a honda.(no offense honda guys)Any way my question is what are the benifits to the meth kits to my 08ss and whats a good kit for. I also read that like a bov its pointless unless your making more power then stock and helps proctect your car, so what mods would lead me to getting meth thanks guys.

If you decide to turn the boost up on your '08 Cobalt SS the water methanol injection will basically act as a massive octane enhancer while also reducing intake air charge temps after intercooler going into the intake. Combined these two elements will help protect your motor and eliminate it from running into detonation. Allowing you to safely run more boost and timing then what the engine was tuned with from the factory.

If you decide to leave the boost at's factory level you really do not need a water methanol injection systems unless you advance timing over the factory settings or add nitrous etc.

If you want to read more about water methanol injection go to www.115octane.com

Or email me directly at info@alcoholinjectionsystems.com or by phone at 801.447.2559.

Rodney
