meth injection?

So, would I be right in guessing that w/ the stock tune meth injection would be just a waste of time?

Water injection cools the combustion event, I believe meth injection acts as an octane booster so you can run more boost. Or perhaps they both do that...

I believe they both have the cooling effect. But I'm not too sure if the water increases the octane.
Both the cooling effect and the higher octante help decrease detonization, so either way you are doing good to your engine.

From what I've heard, a 50/50 mix of meth and h20 gives you best results without a tune. If you want to use more meth, you gotta tune.

i run boost juice in mine. it dropped my ait2 temps down a good amount and it also raises my octane rating a bit. so i can pull timing and run less injector up top.

Yes, a cooling effect will be had. However, alky/race gas is really only going to be helpfull if you are manually controlling the boost and raising, then needing it to reduce/eliminate Knock Retard.

Yes you could run more boost, but not with this car yet. **** even with the reflash there is still no need yet. With the direct injection there will be even less of a need to do it.

Yeah, i was just saying in general. I suppose you could put a manual boost controller on the TC, the down side, you'll throw an overboost code. That's why the tune is better.

a tuned ECU is almost ALWAYS the way to go with warrentied cars, even better if it comes from the car manufactuer.
