So i just installed a snow performance stage 2 kit and for some reason its always spraying even when the key is on but the car isn't started. The only time its not on is when I turn it all the way up to 5v. It is a maf controlledeth kit btw. Any help or ideas would be appreciated thanks

u did tap the right wire, cause i have the same kit. make sure the start is at the 12 oclock position and the full is as far or almost as far as it goes. its not a issue with ur maf wire cause u got the right one, have u checked to make sure all the other wires are right? like make sure that the pump is not connected to the red wire which would give it power all the time as soon as the ignition is to the on position, it should be on the green wire. sounds like that could be ur problem. and do what i did, install a on off switch so u can turn the system off when its having problems so u can still use ur car.

if that doesnt work then id say ur controller is effed. cause if u got it wired to yellow maf, and pump is on green, it should work just fine. i do know if u have the start before 12 oclock position, during cat warm up mode it will spray then stop when its done.

or when they put ur car together they screwed up the maf wire colors. lol

Ok just went out side to check it out again. The only time the pump isn't on is when the start dial is all the way to 5v, that's it. The wiring is definitely 100% right, verified by 2 other people. I'm thinking maybe a bad ground or something internal with the controller. I really hope its a ground lol

ya sounds like controller or ground, where do u have it grounded? i mounted mine in the trunk so i go right to battery negative, thats the best ground there is. i remember i had a pyro gauge once and it would not work until i grounded straight to battery negative.

There is a ground strap behind the headlight housing in there by the horn someplace near where you mounted the pump, I'd use that for ground or tap a hole in the sheet metal down there. The strut may not have a good ground once the bolts & studs get corroded. The pump ground is prob ok since it runs fine, but I'd check the controller ground if there is one. Not familiar with that controller.
