Meth kit or Turbo

Ok ive narrowed it down im either getting a devils own meth kit or the turbo from autowerks. Which one would you recommend and why. If i buy either im supposing id need a all new tune to go with my car. Id get the meth kit with controller and a 2.5 gallon or so tank.

turbo kit....you wont really need meth until you start fooling around with larger hp numbers or high rpms imo

well i would just get the k04 turbo upgrade from p-autowerks the direct bolt on

Dude you got like 4+ threads going on. Upgrade this, turbo kit that, meth, building your own kit.

If you ever get serious and want to make more power than you can on a bolted and tuned k04 then go with a turbo kit from either treadstone, zzp, autowerks, ect or wait for the gt28/k04 upgrade to come out

just curious the k04 turbo upgrade is that the big wheel upgrade for like $1200 on performance autowerks?

The ko4 is 1225 with core the Meth kit would cost around 5

if you can afford the turbo go for that if you can't grab the meth. meth is alot of fun but they can be an annoyence on daily drivers. But it's definatly a good mod. hell do both if you can afford it.

The meth kit is going to give you even more low to mid range power. Thats not what you need. Ive kicked around the idea myself and decided that id rather save the money up to do the turbo and get the power level where I want and the curves where they need to be

Well, like they said up there, meth is a whole lot cheaper than the turbo, but I have not seen a WHOLE lot of gains on the stock turbo cars. Sure there are gains there, but not like you will see from the compressor wheel upgrade. I would say that both would give about the same bang for the buck, though.

The compressor wheel upgrade will help the turbo breathe better on the top of the power band, helping it to carry out the powerband much farther. Of course, its nothing like a big turbo kit, though.
