Meth nozzle location for maf relocate

Where is the best place to locate a meth nozzle with a maf relocate setup? Can you use a tb spacer? I plan on running meth for cooling only on my new setup. I will be running a 5th injector setup as well for my e85 tune but will be turned off on the 93 tune. Dont think that matters but just fyi.

A tb spacer is probably the best placement you can have really. If not there, then drill and tad a spot on the straight section on the lower charge pipe about 6-8" from the throttle body.


Do I get paid for all of this advice that you're tuners not giving you? lol

My tuner has answered them for me. Ive heard different things on both questions from many different people. Plus I always like to get multiple opinions on things. And im bored at work. Lol.


The other thread was really to prove to a friend who told me a mbc would not increase boost.

Wouldnt that affect the Maf. He has a relocate kit amd that 6-8" is there th maf is.

Nope. The maf is right next to the map pad, which is further down the line closer to the intercooler. The straight section I'm talking about is the vertical section right before the tb. If his maf happens to be in the area I'm talking about, then he just needs to be sure the nozzle is between the maf and tb so it doesn't get sprayed. Problem is, the maf can possibly get wet if it's not in the lower location next to the map pad.

Zzp lower pipe. So a tb spacer or a nozzle mounted just pre tb in the lower pipe should be fine then??

I've done quite a few zfr's along with a handful of other turbo setups on an LNF so it's not a big deal in the least. I'm not going to step on term's toes, but I am local to you being in the same state and all..

On the zzp maf relocate you don't have enough room. The maf pad is too high. My coupler to the throttle body touched the maf pad. His best bet is to keep it as far away as possible from the maf sensor with a tb plate. I can sell him one of the few made by byt that had never been used. I went straight e85 with the 5th injector. It really doesn't help much after getting the 5th injector on E.
