misfire check engine light
misfire check engine light
misfires in cylinders 1,3, and 4 while attempting a no lift shift in a stock psykotuned...is this a major problem?? or something i should erase and forget?
i mean it was def my fault and i had no problems at all with the tune for about 1,000 miles until i decided to f*ck up a nls...i drove the car today and it still drives like day 1..
It has happened to me.
Try not to suck next time

ok if your car is running and miss fires.....its like you walking down the side walk and your brain just happens to not tell your leg to move forward for its next step.......effect.......face plant. a misfire is never good there might be an issuse that caused it. that might of been a freak accurance happen but,im sorry its never good to have.
It has nothing to do with the tune either.
Happened to me when I was stock

Ive had it happen to me occasionally when NLS'ing with just traction control off, but not in comp mode or ESC off. Check engine light flashed like crazy, power dies, then the engine recovers and all is good and you are off like a bat out of hell again. Embarrassing if someone happens to be in the car with you.
I am saying what has happened with me, and stock, you miss a NLS, there is a strong possibility you will throw p0300.
Misfires are damaging to the catalyst and one misfire over the course of how ever many engine cycles does not mean everything is just going to fall apart. I think it has more to do with what happens during a NLS than what is commanded, because we don't have the tables to even see what happens during a NLS. **** we don't even have the tables to change what GM does with the stage kit.
I am not saying anyone is better than anyone else tuning wise, but what I am talking about here is P0300, when you miss a NLS.
Stock
Tuned by God
Tuned by Steve
Tuned by my dog...it doesn't matter.
Misfiring under load?
Yeah, that is the tune or old plugs.
