The pro adds standalone datalogging(no laptop needed in vehicle) as well as inputs & outputs to the hardware over the standard version.

Software is identical between the two.

yes i did do it with parts from autozone actually but let me tell you the custom CAI is for sound purposes only. With the custom CAI it does not eliminate the accordian looking piece and the elbow which are the most restrictive parts of the intake. There is no need to do a custom CAI now. If you don't want to spend the money to buy the AEM or hahn intake then buy the dejon intake for a little over a $100. THe custom intake was just over $100. Pretty much the same price but the dejon intake will show gains.
