even though the car still has the relearn feature. to me it seems as though it still pulls harder then it did before. The mechanic i was talking to said that the relearn feature everyones talking about may be refering the the torque converter or something along those lines. Iv also been hearing from some posts that even though theres a relearn feature you just achieve 260/260 easier then you would stock. Either way im tuning it hopefull by the end of may . Maybe even june because i here theres a stimulouse check coming lol.

^^^ It does pull harder... What everyone forgets is the ECU ONLY limits PEAK power.

The intake and other mods will create more low end power.

For example:

Before (stock) at 4,000 RPM you made 200 WHP

After, with and intake at 4,000 RPM you make 210 HP

The computer cannot tune this back. So it is not just about peak power You still gain...

That is why you have to look at the "area under the curve", before and after; the more area, the better.... (Calculus)

aha. nice, i knew there had to be something behind it. Because it wouldt make sense that putting 3 mods on your car stock wouldt help. What about when i get into my 3rd or 4th gear? when you say peak do you mean the higher RPMS?

Peak meaning the top power it puts out... It will never go above 260, unless you tune the ECU to allow it... (But as stated above you will gain all the way up)

i installed mine today, the only complaint i have is the crappy clamps. i broke one, now i gotta take it off and change it. lol other than that it sounds awesome, love the air sucking sound and the blowoff. way louder. why get a bov when this works so good and sounds so good. turbo sounds alot louder to. and it does have more kick. yay, now for a charge pipe.

With the Intake and the charge tubes the under the hood looks awesome.

Make sure you all have a Turbo Tech Racing Upper engine mount also... Keep the shifts firm, and keep the engine from "flopping around"

if you starteg with hahn parts you should finish with hahn parts...dont cheap out on your car..not that dejon is a bad company i have their spring but i just like all my pieces to match and dejons piping is routed diff than hahns and i think you would want to make sure the paints match up the same.

So I know this is probably a dumb question but why would you want solid engine mounts? Wouldn't a little bit of give take some stress off of other components like the transmission and axles? Isn't that essentially what an engine torque dampener does? Please help me understand. Thanks in advance.

As the engine moves, it puts stress on items like your downpipe, and may cause them to crack (as some have had)

Also engine movement = loss torque... You can utilize that torque and put it through the drive train.

Makes sense to me. Do you know what good an etd does then? I've read some people saying it helps reduce wheel hop, but I dunno.

yes it does.

just think of it as a shock(like suspension) for ur engine.

it stops the engine from moving so much. but gives it just enough so u dont wheel hop and snap an axle. btw ur in the wrong section
