my Psykotoon

Had a shitty dyno machine but the TQ was amazing. lol

Intake, Catless DP, and tune from Psykostevo.

Torque was 340. need another dyno for the HP

Need chargepiping soon though

Spiking 25 PSI while holding 22-23.

best $$$ Ive spent.

What did your car dyno stock on that dyno? What HP did it make tuned? It is always best to get a baseline number so you can compare.

well i wouldn't trust that dyno at all then. If the hp #'s are that far off, who's to say the tq #'s are accurate.

the 238 was at what rpm?

I wouldn't go to that dyno next time.

my TQ is not 215. lol

my HP was 238. which is way ow considering all the stage 2 balts that had same bolt ons were like 15 HP different from eachother.

and a 20 HP gain from going catless on a SC

it was wack

238 whp is less than most make stock so yes there is something wrong there. The dyno must be reading your torque really low up high. That would explain the HP number. Hp= Trq X RPM / 5250 so if you made 340 trq at 3600 that would be 233 whp. If it makes you feel any better, your car would make 185-190 whp stock on that dyno.

It must have been at 5800 RPMs not you torque peak. 215 wtrq at 5800 means 237 whp Hp = Trq X RPM / 5250 Ex. 215 X 5800 / 5250 = 237.

Your car should have made way more than 238 if an intake only TC made 212. There should be a 50 whp difference not 25 whp. Get you car tested on a another dyno like a dynojet. If you dont make close to 300 whp on there check your tune. Stevo's tunes seem to makes a lot of midrange torque but not a ton of top end Hp. Results vary but I have seen at least 6 dyno sheets from car he has tuned and the all make really good low end and midrange but most seem to fall off real hard above 5800 or so, and it is not just running out of turbo up top look. I still have power all the way to 6800 RPMS.

Tune and mods SAE.

Stock vs tuned SAE. Note that the motor cannot breathe up high. My tune is almost the same on all runs. We pulled a couple degrees of timing out with the boltons.

what i'm saying is based off of the 238 hp at that rpm, the torque reading would have been 215. Not saying that you actually have 215 tq. the dyno seems very off.

It hit it really fast and I wanted to make sure the car pulled well all they way to the fuel cut. I am giong to pull it to 7400 next time because I hate the power drop from 1st to 2nd the RPMs go from 6800 down to 3500 and the cars bogs for a second. I lift when I shift BTW. I dont want to strain the heck out of my car and it goes against everything I know about driving a stick shift. I was watching the speedometer on the dyno and made it to 111 mph but the car said 104 The cars speedo is wrong. I did some calcualtions and it is definately not accurate as you accelerate it runs slow. It is accurate when cruising but does not keep up while you accelerate. Kinda weird and I know for a fact that I am going faster than 97 mph at 6300 in 3rd. It is 103 BTW. I am not sure if everybody's is like this but mine is.

Yeah, the topic has been brought up before I think. The needle chases you by a little bit. It'll do it on deceleration too. Sometimes I have to stop quickly if I'm not going to beat a red light and the speedo still shows I'm moving for about a second or two when I just stopped.
