My Solstice build

So I'm in the process of collecting parts for my LNF build for my solstice and I know this is a colbalt forum. I'm shooting for around 450. I'm currently running meth and also on going with the 7163. I have on order the Werks 5th injector kit which I'm having powdercoated black so it blends in.

I just have to save up for the turbo and I'm going to go with the DDM clutch since I'm not a fan of the spec clutches

Wow man that is a nice collection of parts - plus you'll be the first I've heard of with the stage 2 cams + 7163. Can't wait to see what kind of power this makes.

Are you planning on keeping it really safe (450 whp with those mods)

Or are you just being conservative with your power goals?

I have all the bolt ons as well so I'm going to keep it safe for now but building it so if I want to turn it up later on it can handle it

I think 450 should be very doable. Although I never took I to account rwd losses. I still think with those mods it shouldn't be a problem!

What are you going to do about the 7163 hitting the strut tower I've read that it's an issue with the solstice/sky.

I don't remember if you said in your other thread or not, but are you having a twin scroll mani being built so that you can run the twin scroll 7163?

450? How do you expect to keep up with me with only 450? Time to sell it and get a granny car!

Why would u loose power steering? It's electrical , why would damper take it away?
