Oil feed and return tapped. Out of money and started school again so parts buying has majorly slowed down. Assembled the short block last week and got the head on today. Assembling the rest soon and then waiting a week to afford flywheel bolts and then I'll be putting the motor back in the car. Won't be able to fire it up though because I still need turbo oil lines and a downpipe. I have to order ZZP's vband downpipe and then have a precision vband flange welded on to work. Also need to buy break-in oil , brake fluid , coolant , and save the money to have my new PCM flashed to stock and then pay James for a base tune. Don't know how we're going to tune since I'll be breaking in the motor but I guess I'll figure that out when I get there.

Got the motor all put together and timed. Ordered the ZZP downpipe and buying a oil feed line this weekend , then I'll just need to measure and order the -10an return line. Selling my 3.82 Trans tomorrow and then picking up a LSD 4.05 Trans on Friday. Should be a little tougher and the gearing will be nice for performance wise , not so great for gas mileage but oh well. Still need to get a muffler for the car once it's done. But the motor is home and waiting for the Trans so it can to back in.

Why would you drill and tap anything on a LDK for oil? Even with the opel injectors you will need the fifth injector as well as upgrading you in tank pump to go much over 500 whp. If you put the old motor back together after running with a shitty cyl one that is just bad on you. I am sure the cyl will be fucked.

it's a 2.4 Gen3 block not a LDK. I have the fifth injector and the Opel injectors , I'm going to push my stock pump to the limit and then I'll figure out which I want to buy. Seems to be mixed reviews on every intank pump. The old motor is in pieces and the issue with cyl1 & 4 was a cracked piston ringland. It didn't cause any scoring to the block and I actually had my machinist check it out to be sure. Plan on trying to sell the LNF block but I doubt anyone will buy it. I'm actually using your old 5857 now so hopefully I can hit 500whp on e85 , I never heard what you made with it though.

Made over 500 lol. Made 526 on 110 race gas. and more then that on E. I over read the 2.4 part. I seen ldk rotating assembly and assumed you started there. Stock intank will supply a good amount. After that the common thing is having a pump like the stocker or a 255 to fill the canister in the tank and then run a aem e85 pump.

All I have gathered is some 18 year old that lives with mom and dad, and works with daddy, blew his savings on shiney parts for a car he didn't even pay off.
Great life choices buddy!

if that's all you've gathered then I'm glad you atleast payed a little attention. Yes I'm 18 and haven't moved out yet , plenty of people do the same. I don't work with daddy , I work at a Honda dealership. And yep , well only the BOV is shiny really. But damn I guess I should've asked you if it was a good choice before I spent my well earned money. Apologies.

Annnnd stripped another damn torx bolt for my throw out bearing , can't get the bit in straight because the TOB is in the way. Pain in the ass. Simple stuff pushing the timeline back.

Got the torx bolt out , replaced them all with Allen key bolts instead. Trans and motor ready to bolt up but I gotta wait for some help because I can't lift it and bolt it together at the same time

Got the Trans and motor bolted together today. Only took me 3 hours and getting pissed off before I finally got it to slide together perfectly. Going back in the cradle tomorrow and then bolting my accessories on and sliding it under the car. Gotta buy a real jack before I can move past that point.

I did on both of the transmissions I've had. But replacing them with Allen key bolts is probably the best thing I've ever done.

Some buddies from work came over and we worked on it from 9pm-2am. Got the motor underneath the car but not reattached so I can put all the stuff back on the motor. Did realize I need a axle boot and sway bar end links. Just need oil lines and some nuts to fit the ZZP manifold and I'll have everything I need !

Got the manifolds on , having a little issue with getting to the center bolt on the turbo manifold. Got all the accessories on and the belt on. And now I just need to finish bolting everything on and remember which way the throttle body points haha

Small update , got the cradle bolted up , the struts bolted in and motor and Trans mounts bolted up. I couldn't get the steering shaft aligned so I unbolted the rack and pinion and it's currently still unbolted. I'm going to work more tonight

Got the steering rack in and the whole harness and everything double check and intercooler and radiator on. Just need to put my shifter bracket on and pick up a buddies spare PCM so I can fire it up. Make sure the oil feed gets a little oil when I crank it and then slap the turbo on and break in time
