you dont need injectors or cams to run e47. to run full e85 then yes youll need injectors seals or opel injectors and cams to get the full potential of e85. yeah you could rent hptuners and get remote tuned from some guys here on the forum. i know theres a guy in nj that would probably be the closest to you. he goes by basswaves on here and instagram. he could probably help you out.

don't do it for economics (unless gas goes to $4+/gallon and ethanol stays the same). you use more fuel with ethanol (hence the need for fueling upgrades).

KMO43 is a hell of a tuner as well. if you want to save a little bit, scratch the injectors and the cams and just run a 50/50 blend. youll get better mpgs on the mix blend like ninja said. youll go from say 30mpg to about 20mpg lol

How is everyone getting such shitty MPG on E? I'm averaging around 28mpg 65/35 hwy/city driving? Even in the city, there's not much of a change as long as I'm not doing a bunch of idling.

Don't get me wrong, when I have a heavy foot and feel like feeding the inner ricer, it drops significantly.

I had a lot of stop go traffic on mine, when I didn't have stop go (thanks spring break for schools) I was up at 27-28 with about the same 65/35 split hwy/city

That's my problem I hardly even do pulls or anything crazy, I will however drive around going 75 or 80 most of the time

Something else no one has brought up. Much of the E85 is going to "Flex Fuel" which can vary in ethanol percentage from 51% to 83%, although I've tested it at 90% before a few times, but it changes place to place, season to season and time to time, so its a mess. Anyhow, with E47 tune you can tweak the mix if you have to. If your tuned for straight E85 and this weeks tanker is filled up with E60 Flexfuel, well that could be a potential problem.
