need help asap

ok so my car will not stay running, very very choppy idle and when i give it gas it still does it.

i have no idea what it could be. yesterday it was a little choppy at idle but i figured its just from my intercooler being cracked and im waiting on a new one.

when the car attempts to stay running it is smoking pretty bad.

anyone have any ideas. i need help fastttttttt

im tuned, intake, DP.

Your crack turned into a hole, engine isn't getting enough air so it's running to rich to stay running. You are prob getting black smoke and it's prob spartina Black stuff all over when you rev it up.

allright guys, im going to need some extra help here.

so i patched the hole in the intercooler pretty damn good, now my question is my car is not boosting anything at all, is it because its in limp mode or did i hurt something by driving it with a cracked intercooler?

any pending or stored DTC's? If so, do you have a scan tool or software to read what they are?

My solution. Stop panicking, get your intercooler fixed, clear all your codes, report back to us. Even patched up you still may have a leak, causing issues. I would say unplug the battery for 15 minutes and see what happens.

Relax Turbalt2010... we all had "the panic" once or twice. You didnt break anything, your car is in Limp mode until you clear the CEL. The way to do that is unhook the battery in the trunk (dont electricute yourself) after 5 mins hook it back up. adjust your clock so it reads the right time. then try driving it with the patched hole. it should be fine. PLEASE STOP TRYING TO GET INTO BOOST WITH A CRACKED IC. lol. Your patch aint gonna hold the 20psi. Just drive it like a prius till you get the new IC.

The limp mode is a safety feature for your car so the operator cant destroy it more than it is, lol. Limp mode comes up with any CELs hidden or not.
