is there any way to located a 2006 chevy cobalt ss/sc that doesnt have onstar?? we were at the beach and came bak to the car and the car was gone

 

post pics and notices all over, catch them like they did with the claw.

 

no we got the shaft in 06, no way to just see where it is

 

so theres no way of locating the car? we called like 2 towing companys around here and none of them have towed a cobalt

 

why did you leave the car at a beach unlocked?

I mean dude... call every tow truck company in the yellow pages there, make sure your car isn't in the ocean because you didn't leave the e-brake on or in gear, and if those two fail call the police... if it was stolen you've been wasting a lot of time on here.


also... I dunno if it is debadged or not, but if it is make sure they know it, some people aren't bright enough to know what a cobalt is without a badge on it.

 

your from Florida? there are a few cobalt owners in Florida that may be able to help if you have pics of the car post them. any noticeable features on the car, list them. anything on the car that makes it stand out from the rest? whats the cars vin? what were the plates on the car? thief may be stupid enough to have left the same plates on the car.

Forums can help. Remember the story about the TSX forums when they caught that guy that was going around stealing parts like that special lip? They ended up figuring out not only who he was, but his real name, where he lived, even information about his sister, and later catching him. A yellow SS/SC is pretty hard to not notice too, so that works in your favor.

 

PLZ post pics of the car and any noticeable features ON the CAR. MAKE a THREAD in the SOUTHEAST chapter on this site. Ask everyone to keep a look out for the car. Lord knows everyone on here spots another cobalt ss when ever they're driving as if they've been looking for one the whole time and then come in here and post about it. for REAL, POST INFO.

yea, pretty sure yellow is a one of the more rarer colors, and they're not hard to miss. even at night.

 

sry i take long to post but im posting threw my phone n we already called the cops, and were finding out all the towing companys here at the beach, it a yellew 2006 cobalt ss/sc stock looking by the outside and has black and yellow interior and has exhaust,intake,2.7,60lb injector,headers,h/e,intake.i dont think its stolen maybe got towed becuz no one really steals a cobalt down here.if they havnt stolen my cobalt why would they want to steal a stock looking one

 

stock looking cobalt blends in more. Did he park in an area that was not allowed? did he not pay the meter? you'd only get a fine for that.. Have he never payed a parking ticket ever? thats when they tow you. Did your friend not pay his payments the last few months? I've seen cars repo'ed

no but they will if you stop making the payments, and if you dont pay a crap load of parking tickets they will tow it. city will claim the car in order to pay the fines unless you pay them all then.
