Need help on some upgrades

I got a 08 I bought earlier this year bone stock and its time to upgrade, I live really close to zzp performance so I was looking into them, I'm looking for intercooler piping, bov, intake, down pipe and exhaust.. I'm trying to stay under 2000$ including a tune. Now do I have to change both hot and cold side ic piping? Or can I get the top side now and wait till spring for the other? Is it a good idea?? I like the zzp hot pipe with the bov add-on and I wanted a short ram intake. Also on the exhaust I was looking At catless down pipe and exhaust without res and cat. Any idea on where to go to look? The tune I'm going to zzp for 200$ so I'm not worried about that. Also is all that stuff fairly easy to do with basic tools? I'm fairly knowledgeable with cars but just wondering. The exhaust I found was Hahn for 499 with a catless dp and race exhaust

Well since you are close, maybe you should see how much they charge to install if you buy everything. Might cut you a deal and give you a better direction of what you should install.

They are generally awesome to work with.

I'd do dirty things if I lived near them.

I'd probably be strapping a ZFR turbo on, piping, intercooler, downpipe and clutch. So much fun.

Nice, Check with ZZP first, As stated previously they prolly will cut you a deal for all those Bolt-Ons being bought at one time.

Idk if anyone ever told you yet but bov is pointless for our cars...it's more trouble then it's worth

I called zzp earlier and they said around 400$ for install, 200$ for tune, and me buying the parts obvioulsy, I was looking at a dejon Sri, zzp upper and lower pipe, yes with bov, ( my friend had a bov on his cobalt ss and it worked like a charm no problems at all) and Hahn full race exhaust. Think that's a good setup? I had a Sti before this so I know a little about modding, just not with the ecotec platform, they are fun cars ( races a 70's vett and smoked it) with just my car being stock

Should do k&n Sri with dp and full exhaust...the charge piping is pointless more or less for dress up and tune...you'll be good... I refuse to do a bov heard too many problems that out weigh the good ness of them...but that's my opinion...I'd upgrade your clutch as well...ky stage 3

That's pretty awesome little setup. Glad you are happy. Probably a hell of a lot different than before.

Full exhaust is just for sound it will really gain u nothing with power ull make. I'd advise against res and muffler delete . Unless u want a headache and **** everyone off after a week. Downpipe for sure, catless ftw. Zzp has great ones. U don't new lower ic pipe same time as upper. If u want u can get that later. Stay away from bov, cause u nothin but headaches. K&n Sri ftw. Sounds awesome.
