New catless DP = Limp Mode?

Hey guys, I dont normally post on here all that often but I recently installed a ZZP catless dp on my TC over easter break and after the install I got on the car on the way home and lost boost for a while until I let the car sit till the next day. I also installed the Forge BPV at the same time and thought maybe it had gotten stuck open at first, but the next day I tried the same thing and this time it gave me CEL's for an overboost condition. So my question is do I just need to get retuned because the catless dp is causing the turbo to overboost? Or is this a different problem?

Downpipe shouldn't cause any over boost, ur waste gate may not be opening, did u plug the vac line back into the bpv or accidently pull the one off that goes to the wategate? Take a look

Ya DP won't throw codes that have to do with boost only cat codes, I'd say 100% it's the forge bpv.

downpipe definately will not cause limp mode. it throws a code for catalyst deficency but thats about it... its something with the forge without a doubt. probablly incorrect vacumn line routing

Did you install the bpv in the correct orientation? The opening to the valve MUST be facing down. If not you will get surging issues and possibly cause an "overboosting" issue.

Also make sure you installed it correctly, I know that sounds strange but some people have installed it the opposite way if I am not mistaken. The opening should be facing down. Hope you get the problem fixed, check all your vac lines as mentioned earlier also.

I definitely know I installed the opening face down for sure because i referenced a thread on here during the install and the vacuum line is attached for all I know unless it came off somehow, I'm at school right now but next time I'm back home I'll give it a look. The only thing i can think of is that I removed the vacuum line from the little hangar next to the valve cover during the install and might have not put it back and maybe it got pulled off or something. Thanks for all the responses.
