I'm gonna second dave seems kinda useless unfortunately. I'm sure there hasn't been enough testing, That and products such as his aren't always made correctly. Point and case I received 2 different lower IC pipes. One was leaking boost like crazy, wasn't overblow on the end to fit the throttle body, and made the IAT2 sensor rub the a/c compressor... the 2nd pipe I received after my complaint fits perfect, which is for sale now because i had already modded the first pipe i received myself. heh, so yea, its gotta say something about someone if they don't even glance at a simple pipe before they send it out to a customer.

Sorry, i meant to type more but my internet went down. Pictures if there was a welding issue or wastegate actuator had a problem, or if your o2 sensor housing had a leak. ect ect ect. Could have been worse then just a simple misfit.

Boostking had this kit, then passed it to some other guy, who passed it to some other guy, all within a matter of a few months. IDK if financial issues forced the sale or what, but it kinda makes ya think twice. Boostking put down just over 400, and that was before the fueling tables, and the overboost were released. So... it puts down power, yes. BUT, it also uses the stock manifold with an adapter, which is quite the restriction.

And yes, Dave is apparently quite the tool (pun intended if anyone knows his background). I haven't had issues with him, since i have ordered 2 things from him (BPV spring and HPTuners). But i have heard numerous stories on here and a bunch of other places. Oh, and God forbid you know something he doesn't, cuz then you're dead wrong. No, I don't have a problem with him.... ok maybe a minor one?

I advise you get the story straight if you're going to tell it. Vernon (Boostking) did not have the new kit that this thread is about. He had the Precision Turbo 5457 kit which is WAY different. And yes he did sell it but only because he had to (had a kid and needed money).

So... I had my story straight. Thanks for backing it up. No where in this thread does it say anything about what turbo the thread is talking about. So, I put the facts out there of what boostking laid down. Why do you seem offended about what I wrote? I was saying he put down about what the OP's power goals are, even before the overboost and fuel tables were unlocked. Not sure why that deserved that rude of a response. My story is straight, so pull your head out of wherever it is and read what I wrote.

Wow dude, no ****! I was stating that Boostking made the goals the OP has , BEFORE the fuel table and overboost. I'm saying it won't be nearly as hard to hit those goals now since the proper tables are unlocked. Sure BK did it on a turbo that would support more... 100 more than he hit, to be exact. What is so ******* hard to understand about that?

And I realize the Dejon 5457 kit came out a while ago. But I am about 1 of 5 people that actually knows this. Not a whole lot of people know about Dejon, since he never comes on the Forums, and very few people have his kit anyway.

I don't even know why I post on this ******* forum anymore. Its all a bunch of know it alls and cockbite idiots.

I'm good with that, but someone (slowbalt) might get offended if we all don't buy from him.

I also agree that you should sell me that Lotus in your sig.

For sure. I still gotta go play with my car some, and see what I come up with. I think I am on to something, but without trying it, I am not going to release anything because I don't want to lead anyone on.

We can tune with HPT over Trifecta though, so its not a huge issue anyway.

I ended up pulling my 2871r off for the winter fueling and my stock clutch finally took a ****... so untill I get those too issues resolved turbo will get a slight polish and manifold wrap.

That sucks... no need for the power in winter anyway. Did you ever get it on the dyno?

Yeah, on a slipping clutch and 12psi it was 312 and 356 so it's well in the 400 neighborhood 54lbs/min of airflow. But it would just drop like a rock since the load was gone.
