I hate the shifter action on my TC.. HOWD THE B&M STS HELP???

For a OEM short throw, GM didnt do too bad, but there IS room for improvement.

Check to make certain your cables are adjusted properly. I went almost a full 1000 miles before adjusting the cables at the shifter and it made a HUGE difference. Some idiot at the plant didn't spend the time to adjust them properly...

Get the TWM man, most height reduction, very smooth.

Height reduction is worthless. I'd prefer stock height with a 50% throw reduction.

Pimplay was at Lordstown and said he had a short throw, don't remember which one he said though, and put it back to stock because it felt the same. I sat in a couple cars that had short throws, while they were significantly different from the stock shifter from the same year I didn't feel a difference from my shifter.

However, I'm not a very experienced driver, so I might not be able to feel a difference that would be very obvious to someone who is intimately familiar with what the differences would feel like.

ya it vibrates when at idle and after that it kindve tones out. and the sts i feel is shorter and it looks great also. i dont have any good pics before but with the eibach springs it totally changes the look of the car. trust me eibach springs make it look soo sexy.

That is correct. I just installed a B&M shifter on an 05 ION REDLINE and the throws are NOT as short as on my stock SS/TC!

I hope you went and got your suspension re-aligned after your spring upgrade? if not you'll be sorry later on.

Were these springs meant for the sc or the tc?

We have a SS/TC here, so we can confirm part fitment... We are one of the only vendors that stood up and did this, to save our customers time

I figured that they would fit i was just unsure about the spring rate if it was better or worse since the tc's suspension was top notch from the factory.
