New Stage kit??

Didnt see any other post on this, but I may have missed it. Has anyone seen or heard anything about this. Instead of the kit given you 280hp they boosted it to 290 like the solstice and hhr?

Are you sure?

The LNF Upgrade Kit for the Cobalt SS will be available for purchase within 90 days from your GM Dealership. One of the reasons for this delay is the new inlet duct and air cleaner that was developed especially for this kit to give your Cobalt SS the best all-weather protection and tire melting performance you expect from a GM Performance Part. As some of you will recognize, these inlet parts were not part of the original LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit.

If this is a second one I will be pissed because mine is coming tomorrow...

I'm pretty sure, because the stage one kit is supposed to make 290 hp 320 tq. If that's a stage 2 upgrade than it does nothing. Unless the posted number is wrong, than it may be the stage 2 kit we have finally been waiting for. It would be nice if they would number what stage it is. And I'll be pissed too, because my stage kit is going on Friday.

What I found odd is when my Mechanic Friend at a GM dealer asked for my VIN to see if there are any updates for the Stage Tune, and when he punches it in it shows as Stage 2.

GMPP will not produce a stage 2 for this car...and if they do...you can count on waiting until about 2012 ish...which apparently is the end of the world anyways...

GMS2 for LNF = Apocalypse???

You are correct. The Cobalt is rated at 280 HP. There is only one kit available for the Cobalt.

yeah its from gmtunersource a LONG time ago

They had planned back then a stage 1 tune/sensors and a stage 2 intake+stage1. The stage 2 intake never happened. so Its just the stage 1. And in that paragraph talking about the first lnf stage kit, that I assume is referring to the sky/solstice/hhr lnf stage kit that came out WAY before the cobalt.

ya I would of liked it if GM had made one. It would of been tested and made right. But theres a few other companies stepping up...maybe we'll see one this year.
