No start, or starts low idle bogs and dies! Help!

I have not posted on here in a while. After getting rid of my 2009 G5 back in December I picked up a 2007 solstice GXP. The car was running fine until recently. It's been parked for a month since I had an issue where it would not start and I figured it was the high pressure fuel pump. I had replaced the in tank fuel pump back when I bought the car.

Before I replaced the high pressure pump i was getting engine power reduced message on the gauge cluster but the car ran like normal, boosted 21 psi like it always did and no cel. When it didn't want to start I got low fuel rail pressure so I order a high pressure fuel pump from zzp and installed it.

Now it has new in tank fuel pump and high pressure fuel pump, and still will not start. Fuel pressure is at 60 psi, measured with a fuel pressure gauge. Now the code I get is p050a and none other. Sputters and dies, sometimes it'll stay on but idle at 200 like there's no fuel but I can smell gas out the exhaust. Throttle body is working as well. No boost leaks that I can see nor any vacuum leaks either. The map sensor on the charge pipe is read 0 all the time could it be that? I'm just about done with this car and thinking of pulling the motor to LS swap it instead. What do the lnf experts think? Cobalt forum people seem to know more than the solstice forums lol

If you are sure theres no intake leaks(testing is better than visual inspection), you need to look for something that can be causing extra load on the engine at idle.

I would start with removing the belt and spinning the alternator and ac compressor by hand, you can even try starting it without the belt. If it runs fine something in the belt drive is causing a lot of drag.

It is also possible that this could be caused by carbon deposits on the valves but it seems that would happen over time, not all at once.
