Noob question about no lift shift
sorry for the noob question, but I wanted to get this question directly answered from the pros.
When switching to competitive mode and using no lift shift, is the only requirment to getting the no lift shift to work is WOT, or do you have to be in a certain RPM range?
Thanks for the help!

the point of no lift shift is to keep your turbo going before the rpms fall off... just like if u were to lift ure rpms might fall from 6k to 5500 if you no lift shift they wont drop at all if you do it quick enough
so there is no reason to no lift at 3500 lol

If you really wanna no lift **** while normal driving at like 3 grand then get a WOT box. you can set it to 2,000 rpms if you want and no lift **** through every gear on backstreats
I did it once at 4k or so under part throttle. Not really the same but it still made that nice pop from the exhaust.
Press the "traction control" button twice. The first press cuts out traction control completely, the second press puts it in "Competetive Mode". Once the vehicle stops, it goes into Launch Control Mode; assuming you want to launch. In this mode, mash the acceleretor pedal and when you are ready to so, dump the clutch, keep your right foot pressed to the floor and change gears using the clutch but keeping the go foot down to the floorboard. You will be surprised. . .I have a 2008 SS/TC and a 2009 Z06 and both have the no lift and are plenty of fun. . .and covered by warranty!
Oh, and when you get two nice "pops" from the exhaust, you have done it right. Its a two stage turbocharger so together the 1 and 3 cylinders and the 2 and 4 cylinders are spooling the turbocharger independently. . .hence the lack of turbo lag.

That will get you a nice one-way ticket to Bogville, which is just a bit up the street from Stallville.
If you dump @ 5100 (what the manual claims LC keeps revs at, i think) you'll get massive wheelspin, at which time LC will use TC to regain some traction, slowing wheel speed, bogging the engine, getting off-boost, etc...
Firm, not-too-quick release gets you the best launch.
Many, however, say they can do better manually, with TC and LC turned off completely.

This is incorrect - you do NOT "dump" the clutch.
