Not building boost, but when i start up again builds up fine

Okay everyone, I need some help. I just noticed this issue in the past two days. At first I thought I was losing my mind, but I'm not because it happened again tonight.

Okay so every third or so startup I'm noticing that my car isn't holding boost at all, but when I let it set for about 30 mins and then I start it up again, it pulls like a mad man.

Mods-
CXRacing intercooler and piping
GM Stage 1 upgrade
MPX 3in catless exhaust
K&N cold air intake
Polyurethane engine mount
Polyurethane transmission mounts

Any help would be appreciated

first thing i would do would be a boost leak test, second thing i would to is clean the MAF and MAP sensors third thing would be check the soldering on your GMS1 connectors.

I'll do that, I'm hoping it's just the sensors are getting oil, haven't got the catch can installed yet

if you are cleaning sensors just remember to use MAF cleaner its pretty cheap and safe on both the MAP and MAF sensors

So I installed an oil catch can, and cleaned the sensors, problem went away for a little while, but now it's come back again, so do y'all recommend going ahead with the boost leak test or waste gate solenoid wiring check? My gms1 is a plug in type, no soldering involved.

well u wasted ur money on the oil catch can cause it isn't catching anything since those don't work on the lnf. U need the powell oil separator, that works. and if ur gonna do the oil separator right, u have to take off all ur pipes and intercooler and clean all the oil out of them, then put on the separator. id even do the intake manifold, I had some oil in there as well when I checked. after the separator everything will stay clean. but once again, catch can is doing nothing

I already had the catch can, but the issue started about a month and a half ago, but it's always been intermittent. I'm getting a boost leak test done this week, my gut is leading me toward the waste gate solenoid or the wiring for it now since it's not an issue all the time.

Figures that it was my battery causing the issue the entire time, weird but I haven't had any issues since the battery was replaced and the computer reset. Guess it was a warning sign lol

Okay it's back again, it was recommended to go ahead and get it tuned as is and see if it's the computer causing the issue, any thoughts or recommendations?

Did you check the wastegate connector? The wiring has been known to pull out the connector

Not yet, I'll do that tomorrow, it hasn't happened since I put the post up of getting a new battery until yesterday and today, that has me thinkjng it has something to do with the computer, why I was thinking I just need to get it tuned

It's the Stage 1 "upgrade." Are your TMAP wires soldered, crimped, or is it a pigtail?

It's the plug and play type from crate engine depot. No soldering, crimping or anything required, just had to swap the sensors out and plug the new connectors in and get the ECU flashed. If it was the stage 1, wouldn't it be all the time and not doing it only part of the time?

It would do it intermittently with the soldered or crimped joints but you have the pigtails so that isn't the issue
