There is a Thread that has the gear ratios with the rpms and top speeds listed for both oem and the 6 speed tranny.

 

Why not just swap the F40 in?

 

Is that possible?

 

heres an idea...if you want a 6 spd GO ******* BUY A CAR WITH A 6 SPEED!! 4000 for the parts plus whatever it costs to install it....you're talking about at least 5000 for a ******* extra gear! insane if you ask me....i'd take a 5 spd over a 6 spd anyday...the speed 6 sucked donkey dick because the gears were so short it would look like i was shifting like they do in fast n furious lol

 

Anything is possible if you can make adapters.

 

I wouldn't call it trial and error .......I'd call it ...got ripped off by the first shop that was building it .
