O2 Bung???

Alright, I tried a search and failed to find anything helpful. I was wondering what the O2 Bung option is when ordering a downpipe. Any info is appreciated.

02 bung they put an extra hole in for a wideband o2 sensor, if you get a wideband later then you have to drill and weld a bung in for the o2 sensor, having it already done just saves time and effort if you plan on putting in a wideband eventually

its an air to fuel gauge, it gives you an accurate measure of your air to fuel ratio via your emissions which will tell you if your running to lean or to rich, its for people who tune their own cars or get tuned for modifications.

Bung location for Autometer Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio

I am installing my air/fuel ratio gauge to get ready for the HP tune...However, the bung for the air/fuel ratio gauge that I am installing needs to be welded on the downpipe before the CAT (so I was told)…however I do not know if there is enough room between the flex part of the downpipe and the CAT itself (please let me know what everyone else is doing)

If not the only other option would be to go with the CATLESS downpipe…in which I would have my wideband 02 sensor and my existing sensor that used to be after the one CAT and before the other CAT (so I will have two 02 sensors on my new downpipe)...I also heard that with the Catless downpipe you will smell exhaust more inside of my car and also I will throw CEL (check engine lights) without the CAT…

I was also wondering if you could take the 02 sensor pre-cat (after turbo) and replace with the wideband 02 sensor..I will be tuning it. (Or will you get a CEL)
