oil galley

does anyone have a diagram of how the oil is routed through the block? does it go from the pump to the intake side or the exhaust side or what? , im wondering because, i would like to install an oil temp and pressure gauge and i want to mount the temp as close to the pump and the pressure as far away (before it goes in to the head and the pressure is dropped ) as possible.

the only place ur gonna get a pressure gauge installed is just under the turbo or i think under the intake. the plugs on the head give u wrong reading cause of the design i believe, but a oil temp guage would work there i believe. just on the driver side of the head there are 3, i think one is being used for the oil light switch.

thankyou, yea i have seen where others have mounted the pressure gauge on one of the 6 plugs in the block but i guess im wondering which one is best. if im going to go through the hassle putting it in i want it to be the best spot i dont mind having to run something like this Remote oil pressure sender which i might do anyway but the temp senders are usualy small and im just wondering if any one knows where the BEST spot is...

the one under the turbo is the easiest to get at, but it is a pita to do, u need some extentions and angled extentions for ur socket to get it done. and u need this
