Well that 60' looks like it killed you....your trap speed is on track with a stock SS/TC though. Do you have a tune?

Yesterday I ran following....in comp mode, but didnt use launch control. All stock, just a filter.

60' - 2.232
330' - 6.052
1/8 - 9.107
MPH - 80.26
1000 - 11.711
1/4 - 13.888
MPH - 103.57

Sounds like you must have had some serious traction issues. I definetly had some...I think on a warmer day i can get the 60' down to 2.1...possibly a little lower. Just work on your lauch and traction through the first 1/8th mile and you should be good.

As for the oil leak, the circular thing on the right you are referring to sounds like it is the cap for the oil filter cartridge. Take a wrench and tighten it down to see if it goes away. If not, bring it in to the dealer (I would suggest you bring the car as close to stock as possible when you do that)

dont even worry about the reaction time, the clock doesnt start till your front tire breaks the line.

Full time slip

2.5150 60 FT
6.5810 330 FT
9.7469 1/8 ET @ 78.13 MPH
14.6639 1/4 ET @ 103.23

and yes i am stock. And as far as the leak i will take a picture of it.

What worries me is. How will i get traction now if i am stock and cant hook up. And when i get all mod mods. Check sig. it will be worst!

i started a post about traction for this reason. i can spin 2nd under full throttle stock. it is a lot better in the warm weather but mostly what pple posted back was engine and trans mount. the obvious would be to change to better tires but i think tires are a band aid .im not sure if ill do the mounts because of the vibration but pple says its not that bad and alot of s/c pple said this helped them not t/c

where exactly is the leak? Is it visable from under the car or when you pop the hood? By right side you mean the passenger side correct?

Looking at the engine from the outside On the Drivers side

Looking at the Engine... I believe its the opening where the Valve cover is. or atleast near it. And it is a circular shape there where the oil looks to be leaking out. Its hard to explain with out pictures

uploading a pic now....

Definately get some pics of it. I checked my car where I think you mean and I see no leaks but it is very near the cam sensor so that leak could explain why there is oil in that area but maybe not?

I'd say you should spend some more time at the track before you get a tune. It will only get harder when you have more hp/tq and potentially harmful to your car.

1. At what rpm are you launching?
2. Are you feathering or dropping the clutch?
3. How long are your wheels spinning or are you bogging?
4. Did you lower your front tire pressure?

its just a vavle cover leak. its covered under your powertrain warranty, which includes all gaskets up to 60K on the manafactures waranty. Dont let the dealer lie to you and call it normal sipeage like they try to me. im a mechanic so i know better. their getting a letter from the Better business beareau from me. its an easy fix, you could do it yourself (i guess).

1. 2400
2. I did both. but feathering works best.
3. Wheels spin through 1st and 2nd sometimes
4. Tire pressure was down to 15 psi both fronts..

They need to prep that track better if you are spinning in 2nd stock. My car will spin in 2nd on the street but if they have enough VHT down it should hook in 2nd IDK about 1st though. Stock my car had no spin at all in 2nd and very little in 1st on the street. The track prep was bad apparently.
