So does every car, what's your point?
Your next thread will be "Did seafoaming just **** up all my sensors and cat?"
That stuff was the **** back in the carburetor days, but with modern sensors you're going to **** **** up.
If you got that much carbon buildup, it's time to take your tuner out back and put them out of their misery haha. It's not being tuned that does this, it's the tuners inability to get the right air/fuel ratio that causes the excess buildup. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ u know anything of gasoline!!!11
And the carbon buildup is probably from blowby dipshit, not because engineers decided on using direct injection, get a catch can.

chevycobalt a couple more questions i thought about 1. would the gas additive be done on a full tank? 2. Is this the rite vacume line to put it into? 3. im guessing do the sea foam on a hot engine also? thanks for your guys help i learned alot here.
no tht is a purge line dont use that, u can use sea foam now on for a fuel additive, also the line next to it that has a nipple comin gout the intake in the middle thats the one to use .

K i thought about this i am goin to do the sea foam and after a tank of gas go to the dealer for a oil change and c what they have to say about the leak down test and y there not fixing it since its not in spec an have them do another leakage testan c what they come back wit and if not im goin to write a letter to GM an c y they wont fix it if it not in spec since spec is 25%. There should be no questions its a brand new car. this should be in the next couple weeks.

hey bro i know you have friends that work at the deasler but a engine is like a big big big reciept so a warranty cordinator from gm has to look at it first so with me saying this you will prob not get a new engine cuz of this:Fully Loaded, HP Tuned, ZZP Upper CP, 3" ZZP Catless, Drop in K&N, 235/40/18 Nitto 555, Dejon Spring, ZZP 6K HIDs, Murder'd Tails, 17% Tint, Shorty Antenna, Hidden
if so u r one lucky ****...

Anyways its worth a try since if had problems since dayy one since i waited a year if not more for the car...but i would like to have a talk wit GM c what they say..also it only takes a couple hours to go back stock...ill keep u guys updated..also i asked them how often gm comes an looks at cacars an they said they only came once an that was 15 years ago

If the leakdown test pinpointed a certain cylinder you have a starting point. If you have a compression tester take a reading cranking the engine over through 4 puffs of that cylinder and get a reading. Add a small amount of oil into the spark plug hole, 1 tablespoon and run the test again. If the compression increases greatly it's likely the rings, little or no change it's valves. If two adjacent cyls are low and the reading of either doesn't come up, could be head gasket. All cyls should be within 70% of the highest and none lower than 100 psi.
Make sure to pull the fuel pump fuse and all 4 coil pack connections before you start so it will not run. The service manual says to pull all 4 plugs to run the test also.
With the leakdown test if the rings are bad you will hear air coming out the oil fill cap, if it's valves it'll be in the intake or exhaust, or in my case around #3 injector when the seal was bad.

so i did the seafoam today.....smoked white like crazy as i was doin the intake mani....i let it sit a lil less then 5 min...started to drive only smoked for about a minute but i drove it for about 20 min...i drop it off at the dealer monday for a oil change and talk to them about this........one question shouldnt it have smoked for longer then that?!?
So today I put my dejon spring in so i took off my factory intake and i noticed black oil about 2"'s long into goin the intake there in black sticky oil in it and then i look into the turbo and fresh gold oil drops in the inlet on the turbo.....some back round info on this car has a 30% leak down on #3 cylinder and 10% on #1 & 2 and 2% on #4 if this has anything to do wit it. im not sure how turbos run since this is my first turbo'd car...btw car has 16K miles...what do u guys think?!? ill have the dealer look at it next oil change
thanks guys for your imput

Are ya using any oil (dip stick)? I have tune and ZERO oil consumption @ oil change after 6k mi.
Just my take, but you're getting oil blow-by back up through venting hose (into intake).
No biggie, but you shouldn't be seeing appreciable oil (maybe just a *trace*) in the intake tube.
