ZZP if you're looking to save money. The Hahn is nice too but is much more expensive

ZZP just came out with a new design specifically for the TC cobalts. it is 1" iirc shorter in height for clearance so it doesn't hang low like their older style where people had bottoming out issues with other manufacturers.

great quality. granted mine is much bigger than what most people need...

i've seen treadstone suggested on other forums and for DIY I/C setups as well.

I hope to be in the market for an FMIC in about a year or 2.

The MPx intercooler was released back around mid 2010, and was the first intercooler with PROPER height to prevent damage from curbs, ramps, etc. It fits great, is priced well, and look at the clearance under the bumper. We designed it from scratch this way.

Treadstone/ and I've noticed turbo ca stuff. Main thing is stay away from folded aluminium like Hahn. It blows the endtanks from core. Mpx I'm unsure of any blowing but I've tuned a ton and they show good results as well. The zzp innercooler is a great product and its cast so it 100% in my books.... Just don't recommend them anymore.

Chevycobaltss3.....is there anyway you could do a thread on intercoolers blowing......not sure if u have pics of your Hahn that blew BUT it would he awesome to see a thread with pics that shows a blown intercooler with it's weak points and a "proper" intercooler and how it should be made!

I know I'm asking ALOT but if u have the time and pics that would be GREAT to see first hand

I don't need proof cause I believe you I just wanna see a blown Hahn intercooler and see it's weak points!

I would like a tutorial to educate myself and other member on what to look for in an intercooler and what not too!

A picture is worth a thousand words
