how badly does it bog? my car does that... it has a slight bog when it's first started...just let it idle until the fast idle goes back down to 750rpm and you'll be fine... maybe the car runs a little rich when it's warming up?... really shouldn't bog or anything anymore after about 20-30 seconds of idling.

You have to let the cats warm up before you start to drive it

car runs rich at startup to warm up the cat. its called cat warmup mode for about 30 seconds. if u have dashdaq , if u watch the fuel rail pressure, on cold startup at idle its about 1500 psi for 30 seconds cause its dumping a lot of fuel into to motor to warm up cat quickly. i wait till it drops back down to about 500 psi and the boost goes down to -20ish then ur good to go. just dont get on it for awhile either or ull misfire, gotta let the oil warm up to which takes about 10 minutes till its about 170 degrees. then ur good to stomp on it. hope this helps u

its normal AJ. how much gas do you have in your tank? i find when i am very low it bogs more then when there is over half.

It'll go away. and does it really matter? just start your car and let it run for a bit..dont start driving it.

holy crap i thought it was just me. seems to not do it lately, but after i went catless after the initial start it would bog to like 500rpms and puff a little black smoke out, then idle real high and go into cat warmup mode. lately it hasnt, but its funny you mention the whole gas thing b/c i feel like i used to drive around with no gas all the time. now when i put gas in my car my EVAP thign is going bad and it takes 3 cranks to start my car.

My AFR while in warm up mode is a solid 14.7. Rail pressure is 1500ish and timing is -20. I dont think its dumping fuel but rather spraying/igniting fuel in the fuel late in the compression stroke so its still burning on the exhaust stroke. idk

I WISH HPtuners would allow us to do that...they're turning out to kind of be a let-down as far as GOOD updates..for this engine at least.

My car dies out on cold starts once in awhile, after the 2nd start it surges awhile till it warms up. I just let warm up till I can hear the ticking noise comming from the DI, then I know its good to drive.

I have a trifecta tune and a K&N drop in.

My car started doing that as the weather was starting to get colder but now that the temps are not fluxuating as rapidly it starts fine now. When first starting with one tap would kinda studder for a second and then rev up to high idle.

I know on an HPTuned car, if you change the DAL table below 40ish%, they go crazy surging/stalling in cold weather. I don't know if the trifecta tune changes things below there or not.
