simple to replace, just did my two about two weeks ago. they are the sensors that go through your valve cover. probably just need new ones, about 40 each. i got mine through the dealer at cost cuz i know someone so may be a little more for you. just change them though, you will be good after that lol.

you need an extension, a 10mm socket, and 10 minutes. Sometimes the screens get clogged, but if you've been doing your oil changes on schedule that's probably not the issue. They are mechanical items, they wear. Cheap to replace though, and super easy to do. Top of the valve cover, you'll see them to the left of the cylinder 1 spark plug.

Its the actuator sensor that is on top of valve cover....
The actuator is on the camshaft.....
My sensor wouldn't pop out of its hole till the engine cooled off,
so maybe you have to do it cool.

They are called actuator solenoids. The ones on the cam are called cam actuators.

I replaced my intake position sensor but can't find the exhaust sensor. I'm assuming cylinder 4 is on the driver's side because that's where the intake sensor was.

They are right next to each other on passenger side on top of the valve cover.
